2023 - Procreate on Ipad

Introducing my first piece of 2023, inspired by recent events that have impacted my life. The concert of Metallica's M72 tour in Amsterdam on April 27-29th and my new Gibson Flying V guitar have both influenced the creation of this artwork. The character depicted in the illustration is posed in a similar manner to how James Hetfield of Metallica often stands on stage.

The title 'Jump in the Fire' is borrowed from the Metallica song and perfectly encapsulates the theme of this artwork.
