Eristoff shoes
2023 - Acryllic marker on shoes
My stepbrother approached me to design and create custom-painted shoes with a theme based on his job. Given that he works with Eristoff products, I decided to create a concept shoe that featured a wolf, as this animal is emblematic of the Eristoff brand.
To bring my design to life, I started by creating a digital mockup using Procreate. Once I was satisfied with the design, I transferred it onto carbon paper to ensure that all the intricate details were captured when painting the shoes. For the painting process, I opted to use Molotow acrylic markers as they allowed for full control and had excellent pigmentation. With just 1-2 layers, the colors were able to fully shine and do justice to the design. To ensure that the paint remained in pristine condition and didn't chip off, I decided to varnish the shoes. This not only provided a protective layer but also made the colors pop even more.
I was thrilled to work on this project, as customizing shoes has always been an interest of mine. I embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, putting my all into creating something that I would be proud of. And I believe the end result was a huge success.
